Last month I celebrated the Fourth of July with 20 something bridesmaids and groomsmen, fireworks over the Cooper River, and a camera in hand as I photographed Paul & Whitney's beautiful wedding weekend in one of my favorite southern cities. I've spent a lot of time in Charleston the past two years for pleasure, so it was only natural that I'd be visiting for work at some point.
We started the day with Whitney and her girls on King at the Francis Marion Hotel, took a trolley over to the Circular Church with its surrounding ivy walls and cobblestone streets, trekked along Meeting by way of horse carriage, and ended back at the Francis Marion for a ballin' party featuring surprise guest Coffey Anderson (check out Whitney's reaction during her first dance...), and a whole lotta swirly light dancing.
Here's an extended look at their wedding day—King Street to East Bay and back. And, can I point out the obvious...how stunning is Whitney in her custom-made gown?
Cheers to a gorgeous couple, a sweet reunion with old friends, and a ballin' party in the Holy City!
