Let's Be Real.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good bride & groom portrait, but weddings are all-encompassing. Each one embodies such powerful emotions—love, gratitude, tears, excitement, and awe. I appreciate getting to document these moments just as much as portraits, as they quench my desire for authenticity and reality in images. Weddings, y'all...they are real great, aren't they?

I met Jenna at a client's wedding a year ago, and jumped on the opportunity to photograph her wedding once I heard her fiancé proposed to her on a hot air balloon ride. I'm mean, come on...if you're going to propose to the love of your life, you've got to go big (hot-air-balloon big) or go home. Despite a last minute location change due to the sheer number of Atlanta residents taking advantage of such a refreshing Spring day, we found a lovely, more secluded park as our setting for their session. Thus, I give you Jenna & Lamar's perfect Spring session, full of all things bright and beautiful.
And with pollen counts increasing, bird chirps echoing, and dogwoods budding, we can all let out a huge sigh of relief as we shake off the chill of winter and greet all that has yet to bloom.
