Let's Be Real.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good bride & groom portrait, but weddings are all-encompassing. Each one embodies such powerful emotions—love, gratitude, tears, excitement, and awe. I appreciate getting to document these moments just as much as portraits, as they quench my desire for authenticity and reality in images. Weddings, y'all...they are real great, aren't they?

Delivering albums this week...

Albums for the bride & groom, as well as parents, can be purchased with any wedding package (this particular one is a 10x10 leather bound lay-flat book from Azura Albums out of Norcross).

These puppies are clean and simple, durable, classy, and custom designed by yours truly. FRESH, to say the least. You can pretty much plan on keeping this album on your coffee table or bookshelf for many anniversaries. Can you tell I'm a fantastic sales person? Ok good, thanks for humoring me. But seriously, an album is a great addition to any wedding package; they are great gifts for parents, grandparents, complete strangers, you name it. All that to say, I'm super excited to be sending these out this week to my wonderful clients!

For more info, visit my contact page and I'd be happy to give you a quote.

Oh, and Happy Thursday. Go get a Margarita; it's almost Friday!

Special thanks to Chris + Allie over at the Reason for directing me over to Azura!

Newt & Ryan. Wedding. Marietta.

One of my favorite weddings, Newt & Ryan's big day greeted us with warm winter weather and soft lighting, resulting in some of my favorite shots to date. Not to mention, one of the coolest "First-Looks" I've ever photographed. I was really pleased with how all the images came out, not just in composition, but in emotion and story-telling. Special thanks to Jonah Fisher (check out the Fisher's work here) for getting some awesome shots as my second shooter. Anyway, I'll be quiet and let the photos speak for themselves...(Disclaimer: this is a longer post than most. Enjoy!)
